I would drive a long distance to eat here. Oh, yes, I did. We drove an hour and 20 minutes to check out J&G, and it was well worth it. Kiley, our server, was great. I learned about them on Tennessee Crossroads on PBS. It is a refreshing break from the “chains.” Try it and be surprised.

Great place for a pizza in Manchester. The pizza is always fresh and priced right I really miss the salad bar it was my favorite one to go to but COVID took it away. Stop and check them out. Update 7-26-25. Years later and still my favorite pizza!!! J and G still the best.

We were staying in Manchester area for a couple of days and want to eat something other than fast food, we ordered to go; the host was really well mannered and helped to answer our questions about the food .My kids and husband loved the pizza and all of us loved the wings, if we ever stop again by the Manchester area we would go to eat there.

Overall the food was decent. I got the cheesesteak, my wife got the baked spaghetti, and the kiddo got the kids spaghetti. If you're in the area, they are a local establishment that you can check out if you don't want to go to another chain restaurant. I know local people LOVE this place, but as a non-local person, it was just ok. I would eat here again, but I wouldn't make a special trip down just to go here.

Our buddy grew up in Manchester and is always raving about J&G’s pizza. A group of us finally made it up and we couldn’t be more glad we did. This was some of the best pizza we’ve ever had, and the steaks and beer were great too. We finished the meal with lemon icebox pie and chocolate overload cake. We even met the owner! It’s so cool to eat at a locally owned restaurant that lives up to the title “Manchester’s finest.” I think we were told it’s been open for 52 years. We really couldn’t recommend this place more. We’ll definitely be back!!

Tonight was my first time eating there. Got the ribeye and onion rings. The steak was flavorful and cooked correctly. Got a lot of onion rings so that was a plus. Next time I’ll try their pizza.
